The Tap & Tonic Speakeasy bar operates a table service policy and therefore we suggest booking a table in advance to avoid any disappointment on the door.  Particularly at weekends we can get very busy so we advise booking a few weeks in advance to guarantee your place. Walk ins are welcome, but we can not guarantee we will have any tables free.

You can book for parties from one to six people, but if you wish to book for more than six people then there will be a £5 deposit per person required which will need to be paid at least 1 week before your booking date and this will not be refunded in the event of a no-show or if the group size on the day is smaller than what was originally booked.

We do offer private hire of our venue on any evening except Friday & Saturday nights. The upstairs holds a maximum of 30 people and the fee is £100 whereas the entire venue holds a maximum of 50 people and the fee for this is £150. These are booking fees to secure the venue for you and are completely non-refundable.

We are a small, exclusive, relaxed & intimate venue and so we cannot accommodate large numbers of people.  However, we do have a lovely mix of luxury seating in a candle lit, table service environment where you can escape for some quality drinks with friends. The table service that we offer means that you will not have to queue at the bar and battle for a drink and you will be able to have a conversation without the need to shout above loud music.

Please note that your booking is NOT RESERVED until you hear back from us. If you do not hear from us then please call us. We will hold your table for 15 minutes only after your chosen booking time and then we will give the table away. Please check your Spam & Junk folders for any email confirmations too, however we generally send replies via text message so please ensure you input your mobile number correctly.

We will try to reply within 48 hours of receiving your booking.  However if you are booking for the following day/night please ring us as we may not pick up the email booking in time.
